This recently Awlgripped Rampage 31 is the perfect boat to go get the big fish offshore, or to go coastal cruising in style.
Her former owner took great care of the boat, sparing no expense to keep her in fish/cruise-ready condition.
We have a copy of her recent appraisal available for viewing.
Layout:
Her aft deck is spacious enough for several people to pull in fish at once. Her helm station is set up for ease of control.
The tower has been removed for transport, but is easily reinstalled.
Below she has a functional galley with a fridge, two burner alcohol stove, a sink (with hot and cold pressurized water), and stowage.
Forward are four completely re-upholstered bunks. Two lower, and two drop- down up top to accommodate either a couple for cruising, or four hearty souls, on off-shore fishing adventures.
Aft of the bunks on the port side is a hanging locker, with loads of room for foul weather gear, etc.
Aft of the locker is the very functional head, including a hot and cold shower, sink, and Vacu-flush head. Of course the head leads to a coast guard approved holding tank.
There is plenty of room on the foredeck as well. On more casual trips, it is a great place to relax, and catch some sun.
Access to the engines is very easy with sliding access ports under the helm station, and on the port under the mate’s chair. They both slide back easily to allow easy access to both engines, filters, and systems.
Engines:
Her engines were installed in 02, then used for one season. The next season the donor took the boat out leaving the seacock on the port engine, blowing it out. He then installed a brand new long block on that engine.
New transmissions were installed along with the new engines.
Her batteries are new this season.
The former owner planned to use the boat this season: He had all the fuel removed, and 200 gallons of fresh fuel delivered.
Recent improvements:
Having found minor levels of moisture the former owner spent over $23,000 to have all areas redone, on the bottom, decks, and topsides. Every spot that showed a hint of moisture was brought back, re-cored then glassed. The glass- master noted that though there had been signs of moisture, there was no delaminating… then he went ahead and did the work anyway. After every spot was perfect, they gave her a $6,000 Awlgrip job, creating the beautiful finish you see before you.
Below, the headliner is all new. All wood below and above has been professionally re-finished.
She has a new Vacu-flush head, and all recent plumbing.

Projects/Issues:

There are some minor cracks on her foredeck. See photos.
Her tower was removed to bring her to her current storage location. The tower will have to be reinstalled. We recommend upgrading all steering and throttle, cables as well as much of the wiring…etc.
Although her fuel is new, we recommend new fuel filters.
Scrubbed and re-commissioned for spring.
